Sending my deepest condolences to Claude and the family on the loss of a precious wife, mother and family member. Although I had lost touch with Jeanne and Claude over the years, I remember vividly the many fun times we had together in Val Therese. I lived across the street from the Deschamps family when I was growing up. I probably spent as much time with the Deschamps family as with my own. I was welcomed as a honorary family member. Jeanne was my best friend. I was maid of honour at her wedding. Jeanne is now in a peaceful place with her parents and brother Don. I am reminded that friends are the family one chooses for oneself. Growing up, I was lucky to have two families.
