Terry was the model for all things great in curling. He was competitive, he was always a gentleman on and off the ice, he showed interest in others, he gave back to-the game. When I moved to Ottawa for a brief stay in 1973, Terry made me feel at home with his friendship. He was not only a fine example for the game, he was a fine example for humanity..

I was saddened to learn of Terry’s passing. I was privileged to curl both against and with him in the early 1970s. I much preferred the latter. He was a real student of the game and I recall many late night discussions, post game, of what went right or what went wrong. He was a true gentleman both on and off the ice. Rest In Peace my friend.

We were very sad to hear of Terry’s passing. He was a true gentleman, both on and off the curling ice. He even let Brian rub his head while Brian was dressed in drag at a Rideau Curling Club event, which drew howls of laughter! We will miss him a lot.

Terry and my husband Jack were friends many years ago and I had the pleasure of attending a few curling events with them. Jack got involved in business etc and stopped curling but I still remember some of the fun times at clubs and also at the airport.
I know he will be missed.

I was saddened to hear the news of Terry’s passing. During my time at the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club, Terry always treated me with nothing but the utmost respect, often times dropping in to my office to simply share a laugh together or to inquire about my family. He was a true gentlemen. My thoughts go out to Kathryn and his entire family and rest assured the heavens above have gained yet another angel.
