My sincere condolences to Susan, Selene, Chad and John’s grandchildren. I worked with John in the Accounting department at CUPE for many years and considered John a mentor and learned a great deal from him. My husband and I enjoyed our visits at our cottage with Susan, John and Jakob where I taught Jakob my style of fishing, not fancy, but always caught a fish. RIP John and prayers for the family.

I'm sorry for your loss. He was such a great family man. I always looked forward to having him visit. He was so happy and had great conversations with the perfect amount of humor. Such a great uncle. He will be missed.

Selena, Chad and Susan I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I’ll always remember John as being a very loving and warm man. You all made me feel like a part of the family when I was a kid. John always found the time to interact with Chad and I when I was there, often tqking time to run the D and D games that Chad got me hooked on or ‘gently’ reminding us not to run around the pool. I hope your family memories will help in this time.

My condolences to Chad, Selene and all of John's family and friends. As our soccer Coach John was an important role model for many of us as teenagers about the importance of helping others, always giving your best effort and striving for continuous improvement. He had a significant impact on my life both as a Coach and as the Father of my best friend during those formative teenage years and I am a much better person because of him and will be forever grateful.
