I know her death came as a shock to you all, and that you miss her greatly, as we do our Mom, but we are happy to think back over lives well lived, and the many precious memories we have of them.

Cal Vandergeest and family are saddened to hear of Jane's passing. Jane was a wonderful friend and a constant presence to our mother Margot until her passing earlier this year. Both were active members of EWA and loved sharing and hosting elegant dinner parties and events for their friends. Jane was a bright light among all her many friends and will be missed. We always enjoyed our lively conversations at the annual Christmas Parties and glad we had dozen's of years to know her.

With Deepest Sympathy
Dear Boughton Family:
I was very sad to see that Jane had passed away. We were very good friends through the Engineers Wives Association. Perhaps it was our Saskatchewan background that drew us together.
Jane was a perfectionist in everything she did. I'm certain you are very proud of her and what she accomplished in her lifetime.
Sincerely,
Gwen Wilmot

Dear Boughton Family,
As a late joining member of the EWA, I only had the pleasure of your Mom's friendship for a few years, but her sparkling personality made a lasting impression on me. We played bridge together and during the past year and a half had lovely co-vid friendly gatherings in the park, and at my home in the garden. It was lovely to gather our bridge group and share the sanity of social friendship in these difficult times. Jane was an amazing lady-witty, smart and always fashionable. Her friendship meant the world to me, and she will be missed by our group very much. You have my heartfelt sympathy for your loss, please know that many of her EWA friends feel the same.

Dear Boughton cousins,
As Rick has said before me, it is very hard to realize that your mother is gone from all of our lives. I know that the last few weeks have been very hard for all of you, but I am sure it is a relief to know that she is at peace. Many precious and joyous memories remain. I hope these will help you through this tough time.

Dear Boughtons,
So sorry to get the news. Sad news is always hard give and receive. You should all be commended that you were able to honour her wish to pass at home.
It is not and will not be an easy road to walk. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
I remember how Aunt Jean got great pleasure calling me Ricky and I could never get her to say Rick.
We always took pleasure when Aunt Jean and Uncle John invited us for the Eastern family gatherings.
I have informed Mom and she too sends her condolences.
We will be in touch.
Rick & Sue

Thank you for the lovely tribute to your Mother. She lived well and was loved most generously.
You are all going through a changing time trying to find your way without the constant presence, wisdom and humour of your parents. I hope you can find solace and comfort in family, books, music or the gentle healing of nature.
You are all in my thoughts.
Sending love.

What a wonderful tribute to your Mom!!! She was such an elegant lady!
I attached a saying that really seems to say it all.
Love Leslie
I MISS MY MOTHER.
The loss of your mother,
no matter how old you are,
changes your life forever. Your
mother is your first and forever
friend. You never really get over
the loss, but you learn to live
with it. She is never far away
from your thoughts, and she is
always in your heart.
