I was History student of Professor Kitsikis at Ottawa University in the early 1980’s. He was by far my favourite professor. I always looked forward to his classes where he would share his knowledge of history and world events. He taught world history from the point of view of the developing world and the impacts of the colonialism of Western Europe. The professor would frequently add in personal stories and experiences and challenge us to think. I took copious notes as I was most impressed with his stories. I still have my graded papers from that time. My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
