Obituary of Marjorie Ashbrook

Marjorie Littlemore Ashbrook came into this world on July 4, 1929 and passed from it on December 21, 2020. She was the eldest of the four children born to Frank Littlemore and Lily Dobson, a family of bakers with several retail locations in Runcorn, Cheshire England.

She met the love of her life, Allan Ashbrook, in grammar school and they eventually married and emigrated to Canada in 1957. Marjorie and Allan had three daughters, Susan Ashbrook, Christine Villeneuve (Rock) and Valerie Ventola (Sab). These daughters provided them with grandchildren. Stephen (Amy), Elizabeth (Matt), Kristofer (Alicia), Michael (Amy), Lisa (Alex) and Hailey. And additionally, great-grandchildren. Paige, Olivia, Aurora, William, Erika, Elayna, Paxton and Leighton.

As a family we were close and were so grateful to be able to have a special family reunion to celebrate Mum’s 90th birthday.

Marjorie is survived by brothers Maurice (Patricia), Robert (Helen) and sister Barbara in England, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Allan William Ashbrook Ph.D. in 2011
