Passed away on May 5, 2021. She was the wife of Colin Arthur Campbell for 63 years. Mother of Craig Alan Campbell (Alison), grandmother of Connor Alan Campbell. Her parents, Hilda Gertrude Izzard and Francis Burton Perry resided in Saint John, NB.
Ida took her initial training for a Medical Technologist (lab) at the Provincial Laboratory in Saint John, NB and subsequently worked in various laboratories across Canada. She joined the Federal Public Service in Revenue Canada, Customs and Excise in 1981 while pursuing advanced education in Financial Management. She held various posts in Health Canada retiring as Director, Non-Insured Health Benefits in the Medical Services Branch.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
