I woke up this morning and thought "I have to google Ida Campbell," and so I discovered Ida's obituary. So many memories come flooding back! I worked with Ida in the 80's and early 90's, and I have many, many memories of her grace and poise - and friendship. We traveled a lot together for work, and her company made these trips bearable and memorable! She was knowledgeable and creative in her approach to the problems we faced, and lots of fun after hours. I remember many dinners and drinks in the bar after those challenging meetings! I lost touch with Ida after I left Health Canada, and to this day, I regret that.
My deepest condolences to Ida's family - she was such a presence and will be so missed.

My deepest condolences to the family. I worked with Ida in Ontario Region of Health Canada in the 1990s and she was a great manager and leader. She helped me grow and was a role model for many. She was a great public servant and full of life.

Ida was one of the first people I met when I joined MSB Ontario Region. She was such a powerful force for good - kind and fair, but firm and always principled. She had a huge positive impact on me. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Ida's passing and send my deepest sympathies to Colin and family. It was always enjoyable talking with Ida at Pro Physio over the years. Something to look forward to while being worked on as a friendship grew between us. Ida was such an intelligent and interesting lady and we enjoyed our many conversations together. You could tell she had a very rich life and that her family was everything to her. I will miss you Ida and I am glad to have known you. May God bless and keep your family close to him during this very sad time.
