Obituary of Warren Tang
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Warren Tang, beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 at the Ottawa Hospital, spending his final weeks with his loved ones, many who came to visit him from around the world.
Warren was born in Taipei, Taiwan, to Bing and Nancy Tang. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, he worked at Cognos and later managed various businesses, from real estate to flower shops. In his everyday life, Warren found joy through gentle and nurturing pursuits, such as tending to plants and crafting elaborate origami.
Warren's immediate family will remember him as a caring and protective presence: always willing to lend a hand in times of need, extending his generosity towards anyone he met. The younger generation, his nieces and nephews, will remember him as their partner in crime. Warren was always enthusiastic and open to their high-energy adventures, fanning the flames of their excitement and creativity.
Warren is survived by his loving wife, Arlene; his mother, Nancy; his sisters, Florence and Vivian; his nieces, Jessica and Natalie; and his nephews, Joshua, Nathan, and Aiden.
