Obituary of John Baptist Ryan Truong Le
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ryan, aged 13, who left this world on December 16, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 8, 2011, Ryan was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, radiating love, joy, and compassion.
Ryan was a remarkable young man, wise beyond his years. A devoted soccer fan, he passionately cheered for Real Madrid and spent countless hours playing the sport he loved. His backyard soccer net was a testament to his enthusiasm, where he shared many joyful moments with loved ones. Ryan was not just a soccer enthusiast but also the best big brother anyone could ask for—always looking out for his younger brother, Nathan, with patience, kindness, and a heart full of love.
Ryan had a deep appreciation for food and loved culinary delights, particularly a good charcuterie board and creamy mac and cheese. He often woke up early to pack lunch boxes for himself and his younger brother, Nathan, lending a helping hand to their parents. Despite his love for food, Ryan happily shared his favorite treats with Nathan, always wanting his little brother to have more of what he liked.
Ryan's care for others extended far beyond his family. He had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, and his classmates, teachers, and friends cherished him deeply. His sharp mind and dedication shone brightly in school, where he excelled and inspired those around him. Faith played a central role in Ryan's life, and he was an active and devoted member of his church community, finding strength and purpose in his spirituality. Even during his most challenging moments, battling intense pain from his cancer treatment, the nurses were amazed by Ryan's extraordinary spirit. He never complained, instead showing remarkable courage and consideration for others, always thanking everyone.
Despite facing countless challenges, Ryan continued to inspire those around him with his bright smile, kind heart, and determination. He found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life—playing video games, sharing laughter with his brother Nathan, and creating memories that will forever live in our hearts. He had an extraordinary ability to bring people together, filling every room with warmth, humor, and love.
Ryan leaves behind his loving parents, cherished brother Nathan, devoted grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a wide circle of family, friends, and classmates who adored him. Though Ryan's time with us was far too short, the impact he made in his 13 years is immeasurable. His laughter and love will forever echo in our hearts.
Ryan will forever be remembered for his laughter that could brighten the darkest days, his selflessness, his unwavering faith, and the incredible love he gave so freely. Though we grieve deeply, we find solace in knowing that Ryan is now free from pain, resting peacefully in the arms of God and surrounded by eternal love.
"What is lovely never dies, but passes into another loveliness."
Until we meet again, Ryan, you will always be in our hearts, our prayers, and our memories. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words.
