I met Don while trucking sand and gravel back in the 70s and latter worked for him in the garage . When it came to trucks he was the best mechanic l ever met and taught me so much about truck repair. Rest in peace Don. Condolences to Ken and all the family.

Mr. Herron was a kind man with a gentle demeanor to him.
Mr. and Mrs. Herron used to babysit me way back when and I have fond memories of both of them.
More recently I shared an evening with Don and his son and my friend Kenny.
A couple drinks and some BBQ burgers were enjoyed.
And some friendly and humorous conversations were had.
A perfect night really.
Then Don and Bud the dog headed off to make some pork hocks.
We still chuckle about this now.
RIP Mr. Herron
May your son Kenny all your family find peace at this difficult time.
