Obituary of Friedrich "Fred" Bertignoll

Passed away on November 24th.

He was, first and foremost, a proud and devoted husband. As well as, an admired father of three, grandfather of three, and great-grandfather of three more. But before all, was the eldest of eight siblings, and from an early age set family as the cornerstone of his life.

In his 89 years, Fred charted his own course, shaping a life uniquely his own. A man who both conquered and moved mountains, he leaves behind a legacy rich with adventures and accomplishments. His love for nature was deep, and spent much of his life exploring its wonders and mysteries. While his early contrasting passion for technology led him to make pioneering contributions that helped shape the world we know today.

Though Fred has left this world, his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him. He leaves behind a family and community that will forever treasure his memory.

Rest in peace, Fred/Dad/Opa. Your life was a gift to us all.
