My sincere condolences Marion and family. I will always be grateful to Rod when in 2012, returning to BYC after a few years absence and wanting to participate in the Club's Centenial celebration sail to pinhey's point, he got me on the Tallship Black Jack with the Fuller family and Brigantine Cadets. I never forgot his kindness in welcoming me back to the Club In this way. And I told him so throughout the years after.

Dear Marion my sincere condolences on the passing of Rod this week. I have always enjoyed chatting with you and Rod at BYC. So many wonderful memories over the years. Rod had a quiet manner about him and would welcome you with his charming smile. Rod will be missed.
I remember in June 2015 at the Tucker Rodgers Regatta Rod was the oldest sailer (82)and the youngest was 7 years old, so special. The memories of your wonderful life together will remain in your heart forever.
With love,
Chris Tucker

Marion and family, please accept my condolences on the sudden passing of your beloved partner Rod. He was a great ambassador for our Adult Day Program at The Good Companions. I met Rod many years ago when he was there to pick up meals to deliver for Meals on Wheels. Two years ago Rod joined our program once a week. He quickly became a great influence on some of the other gentlemen in the program, self naming them, the 3 Musketeers. Rod welcomed all new members and the gentlemen gravitated towards him. His absence has left a hole for all of the members who sat at the table with him.
May you always cherish the memories of good times spent together.
Sincerely,
Penny Bodnoff
