I can't express how much I loved Barb, She and I were more like sisters rather than cousins. I miss our phone calls which became daily the last months she was here. We discussed our woes and wonderful things happening in our lives. We both agreed getting older sucks. I remember the fun times she, her husband Godfrey and I had (the three Amigos). I can never forget how good she was to me and my son Adam, ( her god son), over the years. You are missed so much.

My most sincere condolences to Barb's family. Barb was our neighbor from 2010 - 2018. She absolutely loved Britannia. She never stopped working on her home and beautiful yard and gardens. She was absoluty not afraid of hard work. The "projects" never ended.
She made sure she knew what was going on in the neighborhood and really enjoyed the potlucks.
She regularly popped over for visits in the backyard. She generously let my partner park his corvette in her shop winters, even after we left the neighborhood. It was a pleasure to stay in touch with her. I enjoyed getting together with her 2-3 times a year after we moved, to stay up to date on village news. She genuinely cared about people. I recall how much she enjoyed our last trip for lunch to the Cheshire Cat. She lived her life fully. She will truly be missed

My heartfelt condolences go out to John and Heather and her niece Joan and her family. Barb and I shared a friendship that went back 60 years when we we both worked at the Banknote together and we shared many happy times over the years. I will miss her more than I can say!

I was saddened to hear of Barb's passing. She was such a spitfire and a valued volunteer here at the Olde Forge. She was a no nonsense lady with a huge heart. Please keep us informed of any arrangements and it is lovely that she has asked that folks donate to the Olde Forge. 613-829-9777
