Obituary of Reimund Handler

June 11, 1934 – June 17, 2024

Grandpah Ray passed away on June 17, 2024, at the Heart Institute, in Ottawa, 6 days after his 90^th birthday.  Ray was a devoted husband to Fern for 49 years.  Loving father to Scott and gracious father-in-law to Brenda.  Ray was an amazing Grandpah to Ryan, Evan and Kristen.  Ray was a brother to 7 siblings and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Ray was a kind and generous person, he loved to garden, putter and fix, he loved his retro game shows and scratch tickets.  Ray never visited empty handed, the dogs knew this and loved him very much.  Ray was a completely loyal, peaceful and content person, Happy in his life right to the very end. We will miss him every day. 

A Celebration of Life will take place at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 4-6pm.
