Obituary of Kathleen Geraldine McConnery

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen (Kitty) Geraldine McConnery (née Fulton). Our dear Kitty passed away at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on May 19, 2024. 

Kitty is now reunited with her pre-deceased parents, Stephan and Evelyn. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jim, her children James (Chantal) McConnery and Jo-Anne (Marc) Rouleau. Her grandchildren Shelly, Tyler (Dallas), Candice (Alex), Shannon (Chris), Jaime (Matt) and her great grandchildren Layla, Ryleigh, Isaiah, Olivia, Abigail, Simone, Lily, Rowan, Luigi, Sawyer and our sweet baby-to-be.

Kitty and Jim were always on the go. Going on drives, they enjoyed many years traveling. Spending many years at their farm, entertaining family and friends and decorating and redecorating their home. Kitty was also an avid knitter and crocheter, having taught many of her grandchildren.

Her beautiful smile and feisty 'I'll do it my way' attitude will be greatly missed by her loved ones. That attitude was a driving force as she graduated top-of-class in her 50's among a classroom of 20-year-olds.

Kitty will be fondly remembered by her sister, Margaret, niece, Stephanie (Milton), and their children and families.
