Dear Victor, Donna, Ray, Michael and all your families, I just heard an hour ago of Mona’s death and her beautiful photo brought back memories of those years we were neighbours at Barnes Crescent. Such a happy time, the Afshars new Canadians! Victor and Ahmad (3rd Anniversary of his death coming up in May), catching up on Middle Eastern affairs, the young people making their way in the world, Mona teaching me how to make hummus. Even though life has moved on I have memories of you all, and I send you my sincere condolences at the loss of Mona, a strong, vibrant woman, loved by many and missed by all. Fanny Afshar
