Obituary of David Petry

We are deeply saddened to announce the death of David Petry on March 25, 2024 at age 93.  Dave was formerly a member of the Canadian Navy and a Korean War Veteran.

Dear brother of Judith (Edward Glucky).  Predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years Myrtle (nee Burden), parents Mabel Jonston and Thomas Petry and by brothers John (the late Lucille), Douglas (the late Edith), George, and Victor (Griselda Nicholson), and sister Grace (the late Robert Watt).  Dave will be deeply missed by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends including those at the Valley Stream Retirement Residence and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 593 in Bells Corners.  A private family service will be held followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
