I am so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. I had not known her long, but was impressed by her strength and youthfulness, even at an advanced age. I was a fellow patient at the Queensway Carleton Hospital dialysis unit. We often sat and chatted while she waited to be picked up by her Para Transpo ride. She will, I am sure, be missed by many. My condolences.

My wife and I knew Audrey as a neighbour in the condo we both lived in. She was on the garden committee and was always ready with a wave and hearty hello in the foyer. Audrey seemed a lovely soul, one whose presence, even in casual acquaintance, is a gift. We are filled with sorrow to hear of her passing and wish her spirit well and extend our condolences to her friends and family.

Beautiful words about an amazing Parent who was there for everyone that was touched by her presence. My last memory with her was at the Patty House in Coboconk and Mark and I are so pleased we had that day together. Sending love to Audrey’s family and we will donate to the food bank. Isn’t that just like Audrey always to think of others. Love from David and Mark Thomas Brown, JP Dear and Kimberley Thomas

Dear Kelly and Family ,please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of the Matriarch of the family. When I met Audrey in 1984 at Centenary Hospital she was my boss, she took me under her wings and was so kind to me and we hit it off immediately. She was vibrant, charming, passionate and was very knowledgeable in her profession. We became friends, and shared family stories I of England and she of Ireland.I also learnt a lot from her gardening techniques. I was so impressed of the espalier of her apple tree, an “art” I had never seen before. Her skill set at hobbies was amazing She was always busy, and as they say ,there was never a dull moment with her.
She enjoyed entertaining and had her annual open house over the festive season. When she moved away ,whenever she was in town, she would visit . I recall one Sunday she visited and I was going to my Alma Mater fundraising brunch . She accepted my invitation and we had a great time. I still have my Chinese jacket and a bracelet from her China trip. While she was living far from me we kept up with each other with our Christmas letter, and a phone call now and then.
Life has changed , not ended. For God has told us that nothing can sever a life He created to live forever. In Revelation 21:4 He Promised:“He will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” “Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Sonia DaCosta-Spence.

My sincere sympathies to the family. I had only known for a few years but she left a large imprint here at the condo.
She lived life to the fullest and was always active in our community. She contributed and shared her creativity, knowledge and passion much to the delight of all of us who were so fortunate to know or meet her. She will be missed greatly.

Audrey was dearly loved by the Clark family. I remember with such fondness the times our families spent together in Toronto when I was a young girl. She is will alway be thought of with affection and gratitude for the friendship she shared.

My husband Graeme Peterson and I met Audrey when she came out to NZ to visit my mother in law Achie Peterson nee Clarke.
She stayed with us for a night or two as well as spending time with Achie catching up with mutual family news. She loved the visits to public rose gardens in the Auckland region that we took her to.
After she left us she hired a rental car and traveled all over NZ visiting various members of the Clarke family who were the children of Caleb and Nora Clarke who emigrated to Nz in the 1920's.

Our moments with my mother-in-law, Audrey, have lived a life. She filled outings and visits with conversations on diverse topics. Audrey’s curiosity always led her to delve deeper into unfamiliar subjects and subsequently to broach those topics again, another time, with familiarity. Audrey and I built a relationship on mutual respect as wives, mothers, and women.

Dear Kelly and family. I was shocked to read your Mom's obituary. The last time we talked Audrey was still a going concern. As the Irish say: "Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear." Peace & Love, Joanne
