My deepest condolences to Kimmo and his family. Growing up next door to the Murto's meant always having a friend nearby and always being prepared for a science quiz from Mr. Murto! Tapio was always ready to share his knowledge but he was more likely to seek it from any available source. His questions would range from meteorology to motorcyles, depending on his interest that particular day. Tapio showed his pride of KImmo openly. When adulthood meant that I rarely saw Kimmo, his father kept me updated on his son's progress through life. I am glad that I knew Tapio Murto and I know he will be missed.
Kimmo, I am out of the country until the end of February so will not be attending your father's service. I will be thinking of you and your family as you pass through this stage of life.

My deepest sympathies on your father's passing. I have lots of memories of him, but the most vivid is seeing him down at the Corkstown tennis courts in his short shorts just wanting to hit the ball back and forth. I'll never forget those legs! Seriously, cherish all your memories, and he'll never truly be gone.
