My deepest condolences to all the Edey family and the extended families of Linda. My name is Bryan Murtagh, my dad Arthur (Buck) was the hired hand for Bill Freeman for 35 plus years. Brent and I grew up together, we were born 6 months apart, he in January I believe, and me in July . We were great friends from my first memories of our growing up years, right through our teen years and beyond. We kept in touch off and on right throughout our adult life. That's a little history on me. Of course Linda was a great part of my life , growing up across the street from her and her family. Bea, Bill and Linda were a great influence on me growing up and took me with them on hundreds of Freeman family outings and get togethers over the years.. Linda being 8 years older than Brent and I was awesome, her constant smile and energy and love of life is something that I will never forget. Every time I think of her I see that smile. David and her boys I am sure were blessed to have her as a wife and mom. Thanks for the memories Linda, it was a blast knowing you.

Very sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I will always remember her as the kind woman who lived down the road from our old cottage on pemi. I feel like whenever I was there David was fixing or building something and Linda was baking or making something. Jeff and Mark I'm sorry for your loss.

Linda, my cousin was an amazing woman. Strong, smart, fun the whole package. I was her bridesmaid when she married David. What an amazing couple they were. My dad always called Linda the life of the party. Will never forget this incredible woman.

I wanted to be @ the visitation but no drive was available. Para Transpo could not accommodate my trip. Linda was a very generous Kanata Kozy Quilter which was initiated by me in 2003 @ The Kanata Legion on Monday Mornings. We could always count on Linda's help with our donation quilts.
