My deepest condolences to the Aldrich family, as well as the Bushell family. You could tell Rob was in his happy place at the lake so it was an honour to have met him there. He said he loved to spend time up there esp. in the fall when it was calm, quiet with no traffic. His knowledge of construction was impressive, but its the stories he told that had me burst out laughing on more than a few occassions. I will never forget him and I will think of him every time I go out on the lake from now on.

My deepest condolences to Robert’s family and friends. I lived just down the street from the Aldrich family and have many fond memories of playing after school and weekends at either our backyard on 8 Hawthorne Ave. or at theirs.
Will be thinking of his family at this very difficult time.

My condolences to your family. Rob was a wonderful colleague. We spent some happy hours at the Royal Oak at “his table” (literally there was a name plate) plotting how to achieve that next $M. And then on sales road shows. Rob, you were one of a kind. We will miss you.

My deepest condolences to Joanne and to your family. I remember talking to Rob about 5 or 6 years ago at a Fisher Park gathering at the Prescott. We laughed about our high school days and then talked about our families. You could tell he was beaming with pride. Always smiling and so positive. Rest peacefully.

Our families grew up together on Hawthorne Ave. Friday night hide and seek all summer long, same grade school, same church - we were all pretty tight as a neighborhood gang. Deepest condolences to all the surviving Aldrich siblings and extended family. Hat in hand, head bowed...

Larger than life is a perfect way to describe Rob. Generous, mischievous, welcoming, are traits that come to mind when I think of him. He will be missed by all who knew him. My family is thinking of all of those hurting in this time of great loss. We hope you find comfort in memories of all the good times had with such a special man.

You always opened your home and cottage to us; a safe place but also a silly place! We love you and will miss you and your giant hugs. I'll think of you every time I eat grape-z, a carrot (a lovely vegetable), hear "American Pie" or drink a beer (Keith's, of course). Until we meet again.
Love, Red
