Obituary of Doris Jonasson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris May Bailey (Jonasson) January 4th, 2024 at Royal Ottawa Place surrounded by her family. Doris was 102 years old and is survived by her son Gary (Lil) Manks, her brother Ronald (Eileen), her Grandchildren Sean (Marie-Josee) and Michelle (Nishayl), her Great Grandchildren Logan, Kara, and Hugo and her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Fred and mother Katie, her husbands Leonard Manks and Donald Jonasson, her son Lenny, her brothers Ed (Doris) and Doug, and her good friend George Fouchard. The family wishes to thank the exceptional staff at Royal Ottawa Place and Monfort Hospital for the incredible Care and Compassion they showed for the last 2 years and special thanks to Eileen Bailey who was like a Guardian Angel to her! 

Family and friends are invited to visit at Pinecrest Cemetery Chapel, (2500 Baseline Road at Greenbank Road) on Saturday, January 20^th from 10:00am to until the time of the Service at 11:00am, followed by a Reception. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations to Royal Ottawa Place would be appreciated.
