Obituary of James Mulholland Elliott

Passed away peacefully at home on Dec 22, 2023 in his 90^th year. Reunited with his beloved wife Hazel Elliott (nee Findlay). Dear father of Steve (Nancy), Brian (Marie), and Al (Donna). Cherished Grandfather to Kim (Tom), Jen (Cameron), Ben (deceased), Caitlin, Paige and Carter. Great grandfather of Rosie, Violet, Mason and Cole. Jim grew up in Northern Ireland but followed Hazel to Canada where they began a wonderfull life for themselves and the boys enjoying many parts of the country with his frequent promotions and moves with the Commercial Union Assurance Co (Aviva). From New Brunswick to Calgary they got to see most of this great country making many friends along the way eventually settling in Ottawa. He was an avid golfer and joined Cedarhill Golf & Country Club where he won a few Flight Championships but really liked being the first group out on the tee so he could get back home to be with Hazel after a three hour round! In the cold months he enjoyed Curling at the Nepean Sports Plex.

As per his wishes, a family Celebration of life and private funeral is planned. We ask you remember Jim and raise a glass to toast a life well lived.
