Obituary of Carol Carmichael

With her family by her side, Carol passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on December 17, 2023.

Loving mother to her daughters, Claudia, Debbie (Steve) and Allie. Dear sister to Diane (Terry) and cherished grandmother to Tori, Danielle, Eve, Torry, Bayley, Adam, Katie, James, Jean and Edward as well as great-grandmother to Linkin, Mason and Owen.  She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces Kerri-Dana and Annie, nephews Mark, Eric, Kevin, Brian as well as many of her treasured friends and extended family. Predeceased by her spouse the Late Alexander Bruce Carmichael and her parents, the Late Edward Albert Martin and the Late Violet Louisa Martin. 

Carol could always be found with open arms and love in her heart.  She offered the best advice for any situation and never judged. She would jump at the opportunity to play Mah-jongg, bridge or bingo with anyone willing to accept the challenge. Carol was so creative and enjoyed many art projects and building puzzles as well as listening to music, singing and watching all the old classics.

At Carol’s request, her ashes will be scattered in the warm Caribbean waters.  A small family reception has been held in her honour.
