Obituary of Anna Margaret Morris

It is with profound sadness that I have to announce the passing of my dear beautiful wife Anna Morris, a woman full of love, courage and kindness. Anna was born January 26, 1961 and passed away all to sudden peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa on December 9, 2023. Anna left a huge mark on everyone's hearts of those she loved. Anna was born in Cape Breton NS, and found her way to Ontario, but her heart was also beating for back home and the rest of her family that she grew up with. Anna is survived by her husband Manfred Wecke and 3 (four legged) children. We all miss Anna very very much, but we do know that Anna is an Angel now and will look out and protect all that loved and cared for her.

In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Anna's passion all her life was also enjoying dog sports, training, rescuing and looking out for animals. She always treasured family life and good friendships. Living with Anna was a lesson in love, empathy and the will to share. May Anna live on through each of us.
