Obituary of Margaret Lange

Margaret Lange, daughter to loving parents Eugene H. Lange and Lillian Lange (nee Schroeder), was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 21, 1941, and passed away in Ottawa, Ontario on September 19, 2023. Margaret is predeceased by her brother Frederick and survived by her sister Elizabeth.  Margaret was a free spirit who enjoyed painting, reading, traveling, good food and a perfectly made caffe latte. From a young age, she had a keen sense of style. She expressed her artistic nature through fashion, design, and her appreciation for the finer things in life.   Margaret often talked about her beloved Los Angeles, California where she lived for many years before moving to Ajijic, Mexico. Beautiful Mexico and its lovely people were always in her heart. If it weren’t for the cobblestone streets getting in her way, she would have loved to stay there for her later years. Margaret will be remembered by dear friends and family. In memory of Margaret, let’s remember to live life, worry less and always say yes to dessert! May she find peace and joy in the hereafter. Upon Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
