My condolences to the booth family on Bob's passing
I met Bob in 2015 when I was restoring my 1934 ford. I purchased several parts from Bob to rebuild the original flat head engine and in talking with Bob I learnt that I needed some special tools to put the valves in the engine. Bob offered me the use of his tools (loaned them too me) without meeting me before as long as I mailed them back once I was done with them. I didn't mail them back, I actually delivered them in person. I have never met a nicer man in my 60 years on this earth, Bob was always willing to help with offering his knowledge during several phone calls. October of 2023 my wife and I were camping in Fitzroy Provincial Park when I came across Bob's obituary.
I know Bob loved is family and his cars and after meeting him only a few times I know why. Bob was one of a kind and will be missed by many im sure.
My condolences again the Bob's family and friends

Dear Carol and Family,
Our deepest condolences, he will be greatly missed. Sean enjoyed his time with "grandpa Bob" fishing, boating and riding in his cars. He will always be remembered for being Dale's hero and eating any of my cooking! We are only one call away for anything you and Connor may need.
All of our Love, The Lancaster's

Steve and Family, sorry to hear about your father's passing. Without meeting him, I sense that much of the colourful expression and energy that you bring to day-to-day life was derived from him. This is an exceptional gift. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.

Not only was Bob one of my dad's best friends, but he was my very first client when I opened my hearing clinic. When I asked my dad the following week how Bob was doing with his hearing aids, my dad "Skip" thought they were horrible. He said Bob only whispers now! Not long later dad got a set of hearing aids himself . Albeit Bob probably lost 10 pairs of hearing aids, he was still one of my favourite clients. Rest in peace Bob. You will be missed by all!

My deepest condolences to family & friends. Bob was a great guy that I always enjoyed dickering with on car parts & seen todays car culture the way I do & had no problem voicing his opinion & I loved him for that. I am so honoured to own a hot rod built by Bob many years ago. He will be missed very much in our car world for sure. God bless his family & friends. R.I.P.

Rest in peace Bob. A legend of his time! I'll never forget that scary ride in the roadster and the time you helped me out when I needed a rare part to get my old junk operational again.

Please accept my condolences at this sad time. I had known Bob from way back in the 1960s when I sold him a Model A from Deep River. Since that time, we have crossed paths numerous times, even as late as a Sunday in June when I dropped in while on a drive in my 1950 Ford. He took the time to show me some of his latest acquisitions including the original Model A roadster he got up in Earlton or New Liskeard. He rummaged around trying to find an air cleaner for my car. As always, Bob was friendly and quietly knowledgeable, always most polite. I add a picture taken back in 1978 when we hosted a tour in Pembroke with Bob and Joe Amendola sitting on the running board. Bob was well-known and highly respected in the Antique car hobby genre. Personally, I am so sorry for your loss!

Bob was a big part of our lives as my husband worked for him for many years. His smile, wit, and love and knowledge of cars, were such a big part of Fitzroy Harbour. Computers were not his thing but he loved his you tube videos. When Connor left for school Jorgen would often get a call for help. " I don't think I did anything but the screen is black. Could you come down for a minute." Jorgen would patiently show him what he did and all would be fine until the next call. He didn't mind, Bob was a friend, and he taught him alot through the years. You will be missed Bob...rest in peace. Until we meet again.

I met Bob about 20 years ago when my husband decided he was going to build a hotrod with some of Bob's guidance. He did after all, have so much knowledge and Ashley wanted to soak it all up. They spent many hours in his shop "chopping and channelling" the old Ford truck. This was just the start of their very close friendship of 20 years. After weekends away with Bob at some swap meet somewhere, my husband would tell me ridiculous stories and laugh about the music they would listen to on the drive including the best of Anne Murray which he endured with a smile and a bit of teasing. The stories were always good for a giggle.
And of course every second Friday when Ashley was off work, there was always the never to be missed "Hot Rod lunch with the Boys"
Bob was always smiling and silly whenever I saw him, and genuinely a great man. You will be missed by so many. I know your passing has left an emptiness in our house.
Condolences and Deepest Sympathy to Carol, Steven, Andrew and Connor and Bob's extended family and friends.

Bob once told me he was going to downsize the amount of stuff he had. Last fall I was visiting with him and Bruce at the Hershey Flea Market and Bob was buying all kinds of stuff. I mentioned that he had told me that he was downsizing and his response was “I need stuff to downsize don’t I!”. He made a good point! Here is a picture of him with Skip hauling home a very rough 1951 Ford truck from my place.
