Obituary of Joan Thorkelson

On July 30^th, 2023, our beloved Joan was ushered into heaven after a five-year battle with a serious lung disease. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Danny and her niece, Catherine/Joe of Philadelphia, USA.

Joan passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. She was cherished dearly by her many friends who will miss her beautiful smile and engaging personality.

A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at a later date.
