Obituary of Brian Smith

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Brian, at home, on July 1st at the age of 77.  Loving husband of Suzanne (nee Mould). Cherished father of Shannon (John Dougall) and doting Poppa to Paige, Reese and Ben. Brian was a loving, kind, and generous person. His legacy will forever be etched in our hearts, serving as a constant reminder of his beautiful spirit and the love he shared with all who knew him. Predeceased by his parents, Det. Robert and Noella Smith (nee Laporte), he is survived by his siblings, Robert (Catherine), Diane (Paul), Carole, and predeceased by Richard.

Dear brother-in-law of Garry (Margaret), Dennis (Christine) and Trevor (Marie), predeceased by Jeffrey.

Brian is also survived by his dearly beloved Uncle & Aunt, Ron & Bernice Laporte.

He will be sorely missed by his nephews and nieces, many cousins, and his many friends.

The Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception at Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Road, off Carp Road, on Friday, July 14, 2023.  If you wish to arrive early, the family will be there at 12:00 p.m.
