Irene and I, and our respective adult children, are very sorry for your loss of this kind, caring and thoughtful husband, father and grandfather. We hope that you have many wonderful memories of your time together with Allen that will help you as you grieve his passing.
He was the youngest brother of my late mother, Mary, and I have many fond memories of him from my childhood up until just a few weeks before his passing. He would always answer the call for help from my mother when as children my brothers and I had broken or damaged something in our home or cottage that needed carpentry, electrical or plumbing work. Later, as adults we got to know him as men and he was always good to us and very welcoming with a good sense of humour. We will all miss him very much and we are very grateful to have know him and to have had him in our lives.
