My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Joanne while she was working with PWGSC. We travelled on some trips together and went to some hockey games and she was the nicest brightest and kindest person. She always had a happy attitude and a smiling face. She will be missed.

15 years ago, Joanne babysat me for claudio and my mother while they went out in Ottawa. It was the first real memory I have of her. For as annoying as a kid I could be, she stayed up the whole night with me as I bounced from game to movie. She was an amazing human being. May she rest in peace.
