Obituary of Lucy Palen

With great sadness and unending love of her family Lucy (Nan) passed away at
her home in Manotick Place. Dear mother to Marilyn (Marlin) Partington ('loved
son in law Stewart') cherished grandson Stewart (donkey's ass) and donkey's
ass's wife Emmanuelle, special great grand daughters Mia Lucy and Meagan
Eve. Predeceased by husband Bob (Robert John), brother Joey Tegano and
sister Joanne J Lacelle. Leaves behind special nieces Maria Swan and Lorraine
Farrell. Nephews Cal Palen, Joseph Tegano and Brian Lacelle. Great friends
Linda Brisebois, Russ Mullen and Bud Quinlan.

Nan was passionate about dancing and making people laugh. She loved her
animals, especially dogs. Nan was a true mother, grandmother and great
grandmother. Nan was always generous and lived by the motto give while your
hands are warm and not cold. Hers was a life well lived.

Will never be forgotten by those who's lives she touched in her 96 years. Many thanks to the Ottawa General Hospital, the Champlain Home and Community Care Support Services, and the Manotick Place Retirement Home. A celebration of Lucy's life will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society would be preferred by Nan
