Obituary of Emilia Conte

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Emilia Conte at the age of 78. Predeceased by her parents Serafino and Maria Mazzuca and sister Louisa Aiello. She will be missed by her husband of 58 years – Gerardo Conte.  Her children Diego (Deborah), Roberto (Fahma) and Rosaria (Kelley). Cherished Nonna to Aidan, Ilish, Dawson, Kaylin and Akela. Loved by her many siblings, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and treasured friends.She will be fondly remembered for her love of social gatherings, dancing and keen sense of humour.  She was a beautiful woman inside and out who consistently cared and worried about everyone else but herself.  She was a maternal person to everyone she met.  After a brief and courageous battle with bladder cancer, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Maycourt Hospice. That family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Maycourt Hospice or please donate to your local blood bank.
