Obituary of Nicole Kenny

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Kenny on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Melvin (Mel) Kenny. Daughter of the late Omer and Thérèse Fortin. Dear mother of Linda Kenny-Rombough, and Glen Kenny. Grandmother to Wayquay Rombough-Orofino and Kasha Rombough. Sister to Michele Fortin, the late Germain Fortin, and Marcienne Fortin. Nicole will be missed by her family and many dear friends.

Nicole was passionately committed to her family, and to her role as a military spouse.  She had a flair for fashion, and fond joy in connecting with those around her.  She was passionately creative and loved interior design.  She carried throughout her life her interest in travelling and cars.  She proved to be an empathetic and committed manager through her tenure with Sears Canada as a credit manager.  She deeply loved her work and taking care of those who worked for her.

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Nicole Kenny le samedi 11 février 2023 à l'âge de 82 ans. Épouse bien-aimée de feu Melvin (Mel) Kenny. Fille de feu Omer et de feu Thérèse Fortin. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille Linda Kenny-Rombough et son fils Glen Kenny, et ses petits-enfants Wayquay Rombough-Orofino et Kasha Rombough. Elle laisse aussi ses sœurs Michèle et Marcienne Fortin, et son frère feu Germain Fortin. Nicole manquera à sa famille et à de nombreux amis.

Nicole était passionnément dévouée à sa famille et à son rôle de conjointe de militaire. Elle avait un flair pour la mode et une joie profonde de se connecter avec ceux qui l'entouraient. Elle était passionnément créative et aimait le design d'intérieur. Elle a porté tout au long de sa vie son intérêt pour les voyages et les voitures. Elle s'est avérée être une gestionnaire empathique et engagée tout au long de son mandat chez Sears Canada en tant que directrice du crédit. Elle aimait profondément son travail et prendre soin de ses collègues.

Veuillez rejoindre la famille via Zoom le vendredi 17 février à 13 h 00 HNE pour un petite cérémonie intime qui sera ensuite inhumée auprès de son conjoint.
