Obituary of Karen Vizena
We sadly announce the passing of our dear, sweet Wife, Momma, Nana, Sister, Auntie and Friend on January 30th, 2023. Predeceased by her parents Allan and Marie, her parent-in-laws Neil and Muriel and best friend and sister-in-law Elaine.
She will be immensely missed by her husband of over 45 years, Paul, her daughters Michelle (Joel) and Ginette and her grandbabies Lucas, Alissa, Addison and Avalynn, her brothers Alan and Wayne, her many brother-in-laws and sister-in laws, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Momma was a hardworking, resilient, super-baker extraordinaire, but her main focus in her life was always her family; she cared so much and always encouraged her family to persevere through any storm. She extended her caring nature to many others she helped through the years; helping them through tough situations and giving them tough love when they needed it. Her heart and soul went to her grandbabies; Nana always made sure her babies had everything they wanted, including every ounce of love she had and every treat she could bake or buy! She fought many cancers through her life with courage and determination. She never complained, and kept her stubborn nature until her last breath; wanting to do everything herself, even when she couldn’t. Her family has been left with an empty space in their hearts, but we know who has greeted her with open arms. Say hi to everyone for us, including all our puppies. We love you so much and, until we meet again…
