Obituary of Yueh Yi "Diana" Cheng

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her side at the age of 75.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years, William Wai Nang; children: Kristina (Jimmy) and Kevin (Andrea); grandson; Sister Sheung Mai Lim, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her brother Cheng Tung Leung.

An avid gardener, she took great pride in caring for her beloved peonies, orchids, and her vegetable garden. She was always happy to share with her friends and family. 

A proud Canadian, she always enjoyed a game of hockey especially when the Ottawa Senators or Team Canada were playing. 

A public visitation will be held from 3 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday Jan 17th at Cole Funeral services at 2500 Baseline Rd. 

The family will gather for a private farewell to be held on Wednesday. 

The family wishes to express gratitude and thanks to the staff of the Queensway Carleton hospital, and the The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Center - Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Center, her oncologist Dr. Derek Jonker, her nurses Dave Bechard RN and Derrick Jackson RN. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Center - Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Center or the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation.
