Obituary of Heinrich Zarth
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heinrich "Heinz" Zarth, on January 6, 2023 at the age of 89. He passed peacefully with family by his side. Beloved husband of Christiane (née Chénard). Cherished father of Linda, Werner, and Erik. He will also be missed by his dear friend Sonja. He is pre-deceased by his parents and his younger brother Hans. He is survived by his brother-in-law Jean-Guy Chénard (Monique), his sister-in-law Gemma Côté (Jean-Noël), and sisters-in-law Léa Chénard, Marguerite Chénard, Marie-France Daigle, Margaret Jamieson and Georgette Landriault. He leaves to grieve several nieces and nephews as well as friends. Despite all of life’s challenges Dad always had a smile on his face and had us laughing at his antics. He was a very talented and prolific artist and we will always cherish his work. Special thanks to the staff at Forest Hill in Kanata for taking good care of Dad in his final years.
Family and friends may visit at Cole Funeral Services on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon. A Celebration of his Life will immediately follow in the Chapel at 12:00 Noon. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow in the Pinecrest Solarium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated by the family.
We’ll love you forever, Dad. Until we meet again.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7.
