Obituary of Cheron McGarrell

Cheron McGarrell (nee Isaacs)

May 22, 1963 - October 6, 2022

Cheron was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and wife to Forbes McGarrell during her incredible 59 years of life. She passed away peacefully in the early morning of October 6th, 2022.

She was born May 22, 1963 in Guyana to Harold and Leonie Isaacs. 

Cheron is survived by her husband, Forbes and her two daughters,  Tonia and Tiphaney.  She cherished her two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Aurecia.

She was the sister to, Sandra (Brian), Dinon (Denese), Ray (Michelle), Kevin (Shona), Nadia (Dillon), Ingrid, Shellise, and Cheryl (Iwan).

She was admired by many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Cheron will be fondly remembered for her zest for life and did not let any challenges stop her. Cheron was a confident and strong woman. She believed in making the most of life. Her energy was effervescent and her singing would move you. To know her was to love her. She will be missed dearly. We are all so grateful for the time we had to spend with her and will always feel her presence in our hearts.  We take comfort in the fact that she is with her heavenly Father in a place where there are no tears.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 28th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cole Funeral Services on 2500 Baseline Road, in Ottawa. 

Funeral Service will be held at St. Stephen's Anglican Church on 930 Watson Street, in Ottawa on  Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by Graveside Service at Pinecrest Cemetery at 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.

For those who wish to join online, a livestream will be made available through Zoom.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada in memory of Cheron.
