Obituary of Penny Morris-Bonhomme

After a lengthy battle fighting a medical condition, Penny eventually succumbed to her  illness and passed away peacefully in the early evening hours at her home Monday September 26th.

Penny will always be remembered not only for her sharp wit, but for her zest for life,  as well as her fighting spirit. She touched the life of everyone that got to know her, and she was a kind, kind generous soul who will occupy a large chunk of real estate in the hearts of everyone who got to know her. She will be missed, but ultimately remembered fondly.

She is survived by her husband Rheal Bonhomme, her sister Pamela Ritter (ne'e Morris), her brother Paul Morris, her Father in law Jean Bonhomme, her mother in law Marie Louise Bonhomme her sister in laws Rachelle O'Hallloran (husband Shane), Christina Pomerleau (Husband Michael), her brother in law Jean Paul Bonhomme (wife Wonita), and many cousins, nieces and nephews on both sides of the family..She is predeceased by her father Fraser and mother Ethel.

A celebration of her life will take place at a private residence on October 8th in Ottawa, and a joint service will take place at a later date in Oakville, ON alongside her mother. Penny was an avid pet lover and an advocate for adopting animals, so a small donation to an animal shelter or even adopting an unwanted pet will go a long way in keeping her wonderful flame burning brightly.
