I was so sorry to see the notice of Gerry's passing. I first met your mum in mid 1970's when she and Audrey were in my fitness class (with Thea Holloway) at Ottawa YWCA. They were quite wonderful and helped me a lot with my plans to visit London. I worked with Dr Ron Rushforth for many years and both he and I loved seeing Gerry when she visited the office. She was a favourite! Your mum was such a lovely, composed and self-deprecating lady, a beautiful human being. I did visit her a couple times in Manerdale and enjoyed Roy's English garden in back and your mum's terrific loaf cakes. I am certain that she will be sorely missed. Cathy Cote
