Obituary of Rita May (MacLeod) Foster Field

Rita May (MacLeod) Foster Field, 95, of North Gower, Ontario passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Bayfield Manor in Kemptville, Ontario.  Cherished wife of Melville Gregory Foster (1996) loving Mother of their children Gregory (Shirley), Linda (Peter Clements), Deborah (Murray Garlough) and Dwight (Ruth Ann). She was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Rita was predeceased by her second husband Donald Eric Field (2019) and shared many happy times with Eric and his family during their 7 years together. 

Mom had a great life and is now in heaven with those she loved and those that have passed. Special thanks to the dedicated staff at Bayfield Manor for their loving and tender care. It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish.  A private service will take place shortly. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the North Gower United Church.
