Obituary of Allan Maheral

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Elwood Maheral on July 4, 2022 at the age of 77. Al is survived by Donna and their loving children, JoAnne (Greg), Sherry, Shawn (Moyra), and Julie .  Cherished Papa of Jessica (Clayton), Markie (Michael), Johnny, Scout, Piper & Jaxson. Proud great-grandfather to Maxwell. Dear brother of Bruce (Rachel), Ken (Sue), Wayne (Patricia) & Connie (Claude). Predeceased by his parents Elwood Maheral & Inez (nee Ostrom) & siblings Glen (Aline) & Shirley (Chris). He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Fondly remembered by all his Elevator Union brothers at IUEC Local 96 & his many dear friends. Special thanks to the staff at Granite Ridge Care Community for their devoted care.  Donations in lieu of flowers to the Dementia’s Society of Ottawa.
