It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marjorie Moore on Sunday, June 26, 2022
Dear daughter of the late Michael and Eileen (nee Tierney) McKennirey. Cherished mother of Kevin (Evchen) and Kathryn (Dick), and loving grandmother to Laura, Marianne, Stephen, Glenda, Daphne and Madeline. Beloved great-grandmother to Sophia and Amelia. Predeceased by her sister Mary (late David) and her brother Peter (Liliane). Will be sadly missed by her brother Michael (Antoinette) and sister Elizabeth (Jacques). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie retired from Sears Canada after a lengthy career on the sales floor, personnel, and training departments. She was a “lifetime” volunteer including our elementary school days, church Ladies Auxiliary, Bridge Club and Finance Committee among many other organizations. She proudly earned a Certificate in Theology from Saint Paul University.
Marjorie had many life long friendships including Joe and Deanna, Noreen (late Don) and Catherine and Bert. She enjoyed many parties, BBQ’s and travel with Lucette and Liz.
Many thanks to the Redwoods staff for their exceptional care and compassion over the last few years in keeping Mom safe and comfortable.
