Obituary of Shirley Lance

Our beloved Shirley Ann Lance (nee Bugnet) was born on January 27, 1955 in Ottawa and passed away on June 5th from cancer. The second daughter of Charles and Vivian Bugnet (both deceased), loving wife of Marcel, mother of Chris (Joanna), Genevieve and Stephanie (deceased), grandmother of Josh; sister of Rick (Rosemarie), Pat, Bill (deceased), Tom (deceased) and Janice.

Shirley lived most of her life in Ottawa and loved her family and friends, her dogs and enjoying a glass of wine and conversation or sharing a meal. She enjoyed decorating, art and gardening and took great pride in her work at Global Affairs Canada.

There is a celebration of her life on Saturday June 18th at 1:00 pm at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road for family and friends.  And reception afterwards at one of her favourite places, Hard Stones Grill, 1 Roydon Place, Nepean. 

She will be fondly remembered for her fun and humour and so very much missed by many. She is now with God in Heaven and with those who went before her. May she rest in peace.
