Dear - Vik & Denis We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I had not seen him in many years. I do remember seeing him often when Vik and I were much younger esp. during field hockey days. Your father was a kind, generous, respectful gentleman. I do remember his warm and comforting smile every time I had the pleasure of visiting with him. He will be missed as the kind, gentle spirit that provided comfort and a nod of encouragement to all. Dear Dennis, Vikas, Dlilipbhai and family, Our deepest sympathies on the passing away of Dr. Ramanbhai. I (Girish) had known Ramanbhai since 1980 when I was serving with Dr. Urmilaben on the executive of the Gujarati Cultural Association. Ramanbhai lead an exemplary life, making important contributions to Canadian research and to the Gujarati/Indian community in Ottawa. He was a volunteer teacher, for three years (1990 – 1993), at the Vidhya Kunj Gujarati Language Classes. Ramanbhai was a gentle, kind, quiet, soft spoken person.
