Obituary of Geraldine Ellis

Peacefully in her sleep, on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 our devoted wife and mother left this earth and transitioned to a new life greater then we know. Predeceased by her father Gerald Ferns, mother Ellen Elizabeth Ferns (nee Gay). She will be greatly missed by her loving family; husband of 55 years Warren Keith Ellis. Cherished mother of Amanda Leigh(Jason) and Jenifer Keri (Tristan). Much loved grandmother of Jackson, London and Jenson. Dear sister of Gerry William Ferns (Judy, Devon, Eric, Darrel) and she will be missed by her cousin Rev. Carol Langley.  Our mother was a warm but private person and the friends she made were friends for life.  As a family we know should would wish to thank each and every person for being a part of her journey.

We wish to thank the staff at Forest Hill Longterm Care home for their loving care over the past 11 months making her time as comfortable, cared for and as healthy as possible.  To our wonderful neighbours and extended friends and families, Jenifer and Amanda thank you for loving and caring for Geraldine and Warren so deeply over the years.
