Obituary of Marjorie Stone

With sadness, we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Marjorie at home on April 29, 2022. Much beloved and cherished wife of Ronald (“Ronnie”) Stone for almost 58 years.  Loving mom to Jeff and Jennifer (Mike, favourite son-in-law). Awesome Granny to Morgan (Aaron). 

Marjorie was the daughter of Eva and Allan Mohr (Beechgrove). She is survived by her brother Gordie (Edith). Predeceased by siblings Dorothy, Connie, Leita, Frank, Keith (Shirley), Goldie (Mary) and sister-in-law Jane. In addition to being a Habs fan if the Sens weren’t playing, Marjorie was much loved by her nieces and nephews, their families and by the Costello and Stone families. She is fondly remembered by her friends and extended family on both sides. Friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 10 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa followed by a service at 11 a.m.  Masks respectfully requested. A light lunch will follow. Burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke or a food bank of your choice would make Marjorie smile.
