HARRIS, Erick Arthur

Sept. 1, 1947 – March 22, 2022

Owner & Operator of Main Garage Ltd., 1970-2022

Erick fixed his last car and hung up his wrench. He came home to his wife “Pogie” of 50 years and passed away peacefully surrounded by family of heart failure. He leaves behind to mourn his wife Valerie nee Lytle “Pogie”, son Ryan (Partner in Main Garage Ltd.) and main biking buddy, his daughter Kaileigh known as Klebug “Ditch Walker” (Mike Russell), and special Poppa to McKena and Kenzleigh Russell.

Erick was born and raised in Ottawa and spent the last 50 years owning and operating Main Garage with his son Ryan. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

The garage is closed.

A celebration of Erick’s life will take place on Friday, April 8th, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Reception Centre – 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa, ON.
