Obituary of Helen L. Gale

Helen passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Henry (Hank) Gale for 53 years. Loving mother of Linda (Vince), loving grandmother to Brittany (Hector) and Anthony (Kayla), and loving great grandmother to Kinsley.  Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Stan and Eugene Slezak. Helen was an avid collector of stamps. She was a long time member of the RA Stamp Club serving as secretary and then organizing the Youth Booth for the stamp show. Helen had many crafting hobbies but especially enjoyed crocheting blankets for the Linus Project providing security for a child in need.  She helped to start the St. John The Devine craft group and enjoyed attending church. The family would like to thank the caring staff at VIVA Barrhaven and Dr. Andrea McDonald. May you all have many 3 flower days.
